IT’S TIME TO TAKE BACK WHAT’S YOURS.

When we first started BLACK COTTON, we wanted to create a clothing line that would emulate the quality of established name brands. But unlike our competitors, our prices would be set reasonably, making it much more accessible to the masses. We know that not everybody can afford to spend an excessive amount of money on clothes. We want our customers to wear our apparel with pride, knowing that they were charged fairly for what they’ve purchased. This approach is meant to make you happy and keep us honest. 


We want to be much more than a company mindlessly pumping out large quantities of clothing and raking in profits. Our line’s most important goal is to not only make you look fashionable, but give you a voice for the causes you are passionate about.

Some may not think of clothing as a logical medium for political messaging, but people have used it as a way to call attention to various causes for centuries. After all, what we wear is imbued with layers of meaning — and when your voice has been silenced, sometimes you need non-verbal ways to get your point across. We strive everyday to provide clothing with important, personal system of visual communication, through which our customers can express their social affiliation, profession, lifestyle, ethnic identity and other personal attributes.

WHAT DOES BLACK COTTON MEAN?

If you can’t figure it out, keep it moving! Just playing...BLACK COTTON represents the idea of turning a negative into a positive. We subscribe to the notion that fashion can make a political statement.

 

INVENTORY AND AVAILABILITY

All items are limited in quantity and may contain imperfections in the prints. The beauty of our process is that no two prints are identical. This is what makes BLACK COTTON special. Due to the hand-printed nature and effort that goes into every item in the line, our standing inventory is very small. Please understand that returns and exchanges may be a longer process than we would like due to our limited quantities and sell-outs. 

Once items sell-out they will not be reprinted, and will no longer be available.


DELIVERY AND SHIPPING

Delivery takes 10–15 business days inside the States when selecting the basic $5.99 shipping method (USPS/FedEx). For customers who would like the FedEx 2-Day or FedEx Standard Overnight shipping methods the order must be placed before 2pm EST to guarantee those delivery times. Orders placed after that time will be processed the next business day. (FedEx does not deliver to P.O. Boxes, so unfortunately the 2-Day and Overnight options are not available for those shipping to a P.O. Box, we're sorry!) FedEx 2-Day and Overnight both do not deliver on weekends. Orders placed after 2pm on Fridays, and throughout the weekends, will be processed on Mondays. Please note that even if 2-Day or Overnight shipping is selected it will not be processed till the next business day.


On occasion, we do not have the entire order printed and we have to print the shirt to order. In these cases, the order may take slightly longer to get to you. If this happens, we will make every attempt to notify you of the issue. 

For international orders please note that in some cases your country may charge you duties, taxes, or import fees. We have no control over those and are not responsible for those fees!

BLACK COTTON is NOT responsible for stolen or lost packages, packages sent to the wrong address, or for refunding or replacing packages in these cases. The customer is responsible for filing all claims. BLACK COTTON is not responsible for any package(s) once it is in the hands of USPS or FedEx.

*Any order, domestic or international, that is returned to us for either having an insufficient address, wrong address, unclaimed, etc., the customer will have to pay for reshipment of the package. We do not cover/reimburse for shipping costs in regards to a return/exchange.


QUALITY AND WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

To ensure the quality and integrity of the garment, we suggest washing them on machine wash cold, with an initial water temp not exceeding 30°C or 65–80°F.
All garments and fabrics are blends, or pre-shrunk to ensure a true fit after washing. To preserve the print as well as possible it is suggested to wash the garment inside out (with the printed side in ).


RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We realize that you make choices in the buying process and we want you to be happy with your purchase. Returns/exchanges can be necessary and that we will do our best meet reasonable expectations when these situations arise. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase please allow us to assist you with your order. We deal with returns on a per item basis. There are varying restocking and service fees. If you wish to make a return, please contact us to discuss the matter first before sending back your items. We do not cover shipping costs for returns/exchanges.
No returns or exchanges after 30 days.
We do not accept items to be exchanged that were already previously exchanged.
All sales are final outside the U. S
