Tracee Ellis Ross has a new product endorsement and is going all out to promote it.
The Golden Globe Award-winning actress and United Airlines pitch-woman poses nude in an Instagram post promoting her new hair care line, Pattern, which launches next week.
“Sometimes it’s just all about the hair,” the 46-year old funnywoman captioned on the social media post, which promoting the brand, which will feature conditioners, shampoo, hair oil, towels, hairbrushes, and hair clips.
The “black-ish” star said the projects has been 10 years in the making and began conceiving her brand in 2008 after her popular sitcom “Girlfriends” ended.
Ross said the brand is specifically for curly, coily, and tight textured hair and are packed with luscious and safe ingredients.
“Trust me I know, because my panel and I tried 74 different samples to get these 7 formulas for phase one,” the Emmy Award nominee added.
According to Ross, Pattern aims to “fulfill the unmet needs of our community” and has “accessible pricing because everyone should have access to their most beautiful hair in their own shower.”
Since she led the Kelsey Grammar-produced “Girlfriends,” Ellis Ross — a former fashion magazine editor — has been readily identified with her big hair, just as her mother, legendary singer Diana Ross, whose long flowing mane is just emblematic of her signature style as her vocal prowess.
According to marketing retail agency Mintel, that black hair care market in the U.S. alone was valued at $2..5 billion in 2018.
