Kylie Jenner and Khloé Kardashian are teaming up again for round three of Koko by Kylie Cosmetics and naturally, they did a fancy shoot for the new launch. And also naturally, they’re being called out on Instagram for Photoshop.
FWIW, neither Khloé nor Kylie is exactly a stranger to Photoshop allegations, and their more iconic moments include Khloé accidentally giving herself two thumbs, Kylie accidentally giving herself an extra-long hand, and—most hilariously—Kylie and Khloé having the same feet in the family Christmas card.
And while there don’t seem to be any specific red flags in the pics from Khloé and Kylie’s new shoot, Khloé’s Instagram is floooooded with (pretty mean!) comments.
While neither of them look particularly different, fans seemed to be shocked by the photos and left hundreds of comments accusing them of going 'too far'.
One fan asked "Is this supposed to be Kylie and Khloe?" before calling for the Photoshop to stop, saying "They are beautiful enough. They don't need to be this photo shopped."
Another said "I didn't even realize this was Khloe and Kylie" while another simply asked "Where is Khloe", which is very shady considering Khloe posted the photo.
FIRST OF ALL, there is almost no picture on the internet at this point that isn’t photoshopped or Facetuned to some degree (and that includes celebrities and noncelebs alike). But also, Kylie and Khloé should be able to post whatever photos they want without an onslaught of negativity, right?
And the comments on this post are pretty savage—with some fans calling out the editing in general (to quote: “The photoshop is too much” and “What happened to your faces? Y’all have truly disappeared...so sad!”) and others saying it’s reached the point where they don’t even recognize the sisters (“Can barely tell it’s Khloé with all the Photoshop on this”). Meanwhile, some less salty people are out here like, “Is this supposed to be Kylie and Khloe? They are beautiful enough. They don’t need to be this photoshopped.”
