BTS’s J-Hope and Becky G have won over the original artists behind “Chicken Noodle Soup”!
On September 27, J-Hope and Becky G dropped their collaboration track that samples the chorus of Webstar and Young B’s (now Bianca Bonnie) 2006 track of the same name.
#ChickenNoodleSoup ya salió!! 🍜 Korean, Spanish, English... we brought cultures together & made a trilingual song! 🇰🇷🇲🇽🇺🇸 Music really is universal. ❤️ I hope everyone enjoys this! Shoutout to my friend J-HOPE! We did that! 🙌🏽🤗 #CNS https://t.co/ihLQfv6In8 pic.twitter.com/RihkbP0cM8

Following its release, Bianca Bonnie posted a video on her Instagram Stories. She said, “So I’ve just been laying in the bed all morning, you know, watching social media, everybody talking about the Becky G and BTS remake of ‘Chicken Noodle Soup.’ And I just want to shout out to BTS and Becky G because I’m trending worldwide No. 3 right now. ‘Thank You Bianca’ is the hashtag.”
She continued, “The remake really is dope to me. ‘Chicken Noodle Soup’ been out almost 15 years now. And it’s really really dope to me that, you know, that this new generation can even still tap into it so I think it’s amazing.”
The singer celebrated her worldwide trending hashtag with screenshots from Twitter.
Fans of the new Becky G and J-Hope track are thanking Bianca Bonnie ( formerly known as Young B) for inspiring the pair to make the remake of her 2007 single of the same name.

I got to re-introduce this song to my kids and that has been amazing to relive even though my rhythm-less ass still can’t do that dance. #ThankYouBianca for allowing this moment in 2019! You created the song in 2006 that inspired Jhope to love dance! @BTS_twt https://t.co/wL7Cb1PO77

back to "chicken noodle soup;" the chicken noodle soup dance itself came from within harlem as a modernized offshoot of the harlem shake also often performed at rucker park (a legendary site in harlem). here's a video of folks doing it from 2006:https://t.co/rwnPPoFN8G pic.twitter.com/v7s24wAvkU
