50 Cent is making some bold claims regarding Chris Brown and Michael Jackson.
In a recent Instagram post, the Power mogul recycled a social media post proclaiming, “@ChrisBrown has now sold 69.5M singles in the US, making him the 7th best selling singles artist of all time. He has now totaled 100M RIAA certified units.”
He added in the caption, “CB better then MJ to me now. I can’t believe mike wanted to touch the little boys booty. what the fuck man.”
While people both supported and scoffed at 50’s declaration, some took issue with his jab about the late King of Pop’s alleged pedophilia — including Waka Flocka Flame.
Waka Flocka hopped in Fiddy’s comment section and wrote, “Shit not funny….not Mike my nixxa.”
Despite the numerous allegations against him, Jackson was acquitted of any criminal child molestation charges 2005. Heightened interest in Jackson’s private life followed HBO’s Leaving Neverland documentary, which aired earlier this year.
Corey Feldman, who was close to the pop superstar prior to his 2009 death, adamantly defended Jackson against the allegations presented in the doc.
Pete Rock was also outspoken about his support for Jackson in the wake of the doc, writing, “A True King!! Owned all dat music made you the king of the music industry. They mad at you!
“Your innocent but even in death they wont leave you alone. The Greatest artist/musician in the world. The King Michael Jackson RIP.”
Evidently, 50 feels otherwise.
